Acknowledgement

$15*

 An acknowledgement is used to verify the identity of the signer and to confirm that they signed the document. They are not swearing to the truthfulness or validity of the document, they are simply acknowledging that they signed the document. For an acknowledgement in the state of California, a signer is not required to sign the document in the presence of the notary public, but they are required to personally appear in front of the notary to confirm their signature.

Jurat

 A jurat is used when the signer is swearing to the content of the document. The notary must administer an oath or affirmation to the signer in order to complete the jurat. A jurat also requires that the signer signs in the presence of the notary.  *$15/Jurat


Loan Singing

First Purchase Loans

 When a buyer takes out a mortgage to purchase a property.   Expect 125-200 pages and 10-15 notarizations.  

Mortgage Refinances

Refinances are one of the most common types of loan signings. A refinance allows a homeowner to pay off their existing mortgage with a new loan, often to get a lower interest rate or take cash out.  Expect around 125-200 pages with 8-15 documents to notarize.  

Reverse Mortgage

 A reverse mortgage allows homeowners aged 62+ to convert home equity into cash or a line of credit. Borrowers receive payments and don’t need to repay the loan as long as they live in the home.  Expect around 200-250 pages with 10-15 documents to notarize.  

Cash-Out Refinance

 Borrowers can tap into their home’s equity through a cash-out refinance.  Expect 125-200 pages and 10-15 notarizations.  

Home Equity Loans/Lines of Credit

 Home equity loans allow homeowners to borrow against the equity in their home.  Expect 125-200 and 15-20 notarizations

Commercial/Business Loans

 Notary signing agents are often needed for commercial loans involving businesses, office buildings, retail space, apartments, and other investment properties.  Commercial packages range widely in size, from 150-500+ pages Expect   notarize 50+ documents for multiple signers and business entities. 

Loan Modification

 When an existing loan is revised, it’s called a loan modification. Common reasons include lowering payments, adjusting the interest rate, or extending the repayment period.   Expect 30-40 pages and 2-6 documents to notarize.

Deed Transfer and Recording Documents

Lenders and title companies often need assistance getting documents notarized for recording or transferring property ownership.   This may include just a couple documents like a deed, bill of sale, death certificate affidavit, or property transfer affidavit.  Expect 1-6 documents to notarize.

Seller Real Estate Packet

 When a home seller needs documents notarized, signing agents may get assigned a seller real estate package. Expect 20-30 pages and 1-3 documents to notarize.

Late Fees

 A 10-minute grace period will be allowed after the scheduled time.  A fee of $5/min will be applied after the grace period.  **NOTE: We will ONLY WAIT 20 minutes after the grace period before the appointment is deemed cancelled.

Cancellation Fees

 A cancellation fee will be applied if an appointment is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment.
